Bright Start Pediatric Services is a New York State approved early intervention and preschool agency that was founded in
January 2001 by Karen Stolt, a licensed speech pathologist and Joan Fisher, a licensed occupational therapist. Bright Start has
always had as it's primary goal the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive, early childhood therapy services. Bright Start opened
its doors during July 2001, with the two founders and one additional employee operating out of a 1500 square foot office facility.
Originally, Bright Start provided speech language and occupational therapy services to children aged birth through five years,
through the New York State Early Intervention and preschool programs. Initial services were delivered in the Wayne County.

Through the dedication and caring of our professional staff and our ongoing commitment to provide quality therapy services, Bright Start has enjoyed much success. Service offerings have been expanded to include: occupational, physical and speech therapy, special education, psychological counseling, vision services, nutrition, service coordination, and evaluation services. Developmental playgroups and a preschool program for the general public are also offerered.

Also during this time, Bright Start's geographic footprint increased to include the Counties of Monroe, Ontario, Livingston, Cayuga and Oswego. In addition, our staff increased to approximately 90 employees. To accommodate this growth and to better serve our clients, Bright Start moved into a new 7000 square foot free standing facility during February 2004.
